Sportivate

The purpose of this section is for you to submit your application to us for funding as part of the South Yorkshire Sportivate Programme.

South Yorkshire Sport is now open for applications for the year 2 programme which includes delivery to take place between 1st October 2012 and 30th March 2013. This latest funding round is only open between 14th May and 16th July 2012 so please make sure you get your application uploaded and submitted by 5:00pm on the 16th July 2012.

There are a number of downloads on the left hand side which have been created to help you with your application. Please make sure you download and read the Year 2 Preparation Manual. Although its long, it has all the essential information you will need to know to submit a great application! Also on the left hand side are some example applications from our year 1 programme. Please take a look at these as they represent some of the best applications we have received and were all successful in receiving funding! All of the National Governing Body Sportivate Offers are also downloadable over on the left. Make sure you take a look at these where they are relevant for your application as having commitment from your sport’s National Governing Body will be an important part of whether your application is successful or not.

To help you even more with your application, South Yorkshire are offering a number of Sportivate Clinics. Dates for Sportivate Clinics for applications as part of this funding round are shown below. You are strongly advised to attend one of these clinics in order to give your project the best chance of success. If you want to book onto one of these, give us a call on 0114 2235674 and book yourself a 1 hour slot with a member of our team. Slots are available from 8am until 6pm.

When you’ve had a good read of all of the downloads over on the left and you’re ready to submit your application, please do so using the upload facility below. Make sure you have completed the Year 2 Plan which can be downloaded by clicking on the link to the left. Don’t use any other document to submit your application and make sure all of the sections are completed! Finally, make sure you have only submitted projects to be delivered during the period of time of the latest funding round as listed above!
